Zap message or 'number unobtainable'

    trueCall Model:
    trueCall Call Blocker + Recorder
    I thought I'd seen somewhere that 'zap' callers would just receive the 'number unobtainable' tone - is this correct? - if so how can I set it up? - Thanks - Andrew

    My Options.. Advanced call screening.. Rejected caller treatment.. Edit.. Play unobtainable tone

    I dont have the facility of rejected caller treatment in my control panel

    Try "Handling Incoming Calls" - "Customise" - "Zap list Caller" & change both day & night settings.

    I'm talking about the Internet control panel at www.truecallcontrol.co.uk. I'm using a Classic - does the control panel mutate according to the trueCall version?

    OK, I think we are going to have to be sure what kit people are using when answering questions, and to be clear which kit answers apply to. Time to put the relevant details in user profiles and display them somewhere.

    I'm using call blocker, tried giving you a screen printed but gets hooked up by spam filter

    That's what we call the "Classic" on here - kindly set your profile so it displays under your bassett hound.

    I have already shown where to find the option (for the Classic) in post 2.

    I still dont have that facility.
    I also dont have the 'handling incoming calls - customise
    It seems my internet control panel is different it is headed up trueCall extra and then the below menu options

    I do not have rejected caller in my options, as mentioned above my options are different to yours and I would send you a screen dump if I could

    under my options for advanced options I only have the following available:
    Speaker Volume
    Starred caller ringtone
    Shield breakthrough key
    Caller-ID format
    Call Recording
    and that is it

    I have a separate advanced call screening which as the following options:
    Zap & Star
    Auto Un Zap
    Starred Callers Only
    Callers Code
    Auto Star International
    Not At Home
    Skip Whisper
    Skip Whisper Code
    and that is it, nothing about rejected caller

    The control panel does seem to be quite different for different models. My options don't look like that..

    For example, I have an option called Callers Code [sic - must send trueCall some apostrophes...]which, I would guess, is the same idea as your Skip Whisper one..

    You should be able to post screenshots now if you wish.
