Just a hello to the forum ...

I've been plagued with nuisance calls for so long now I'd put it down to a fact of life ... registered with TPS, but, as you know, registration has absolutely no impact on overseas-sourced calls. So I just put up with the calls, sometimes none, sometimes as many as 7 or 8 in single day (often as late as 21:30). Final straw was when I insisted that one particular caller tell me the name of the company she worked for. After she'd told me 3 times that that she worked for Microsoft and I asked to tell me who she "really" worked for she was was abusive and swore at me. Out of order, man, totally out of order.

Been aware of trueCall for some time so put my hand in my pocket and got the trueCall Unit. Installed it and within 5 hours I'd already blocked 2 calls. I know its a cliche but it really is the best £100 I ever spent.

When you realise the features that are available to you against the oppositions and the monthly charges communications providers would charge for Blocking certain calls etc the cost over a couple of years is nothing.

It is certainly money well spent, even if we should not have had to spend it in the first place.

Just goes to show the CPR call Blocker is not as good as the trueCall, can be far more expensive in the end than the trueCall, does not have as many options as the trueCall, and is not as easy to use as the trueCall. I take it you might think it's :censored: then.

I'm impressed and I don't even have caller ID running. No junk calls since I installed trueCall.

I've had no further nuisance calls get through since installation of trueCall; everything works perfectly, catching about 3 per day.
I looked carefully at the lower cost competitors, but found they were limited in their capabilities.

The web interface is slick, but local network capability would be good.

If trueCall were incorporated into a phone unit, I would have bought that instead.
