Manual weblink failed

    I tried manual weblink this morning and it failed 3 times so far. The unit says "failed, try again later" then says "600" numbers each time.
    I had weblinked twice manually around 10 minutes before these failures which were OK.

    Do you think it was simply that I was trying to web link too quickly after each other?

    Tried again just now - same result - Failed. The numbers the trueCall Unit says after the failed link is 6000 (not 600 as I say in the first post). Any clues?

    Hi boswell. I think we all get the weblink failure sometimes, especially manual ones.
    I have also had different numbers stated for the failure.
    Not sure what the numbers actually represent, probably only trueCall know. Give it a few hours and try agin. If you still get failures you could try emailing support but more than likely the problem will clear itself.

    Thanks toekneem - As you say I'll leave it a few hours and try again - if not successful then Ill call support. I will probably ask them the significance of the numbers when I'm at it.

    Goodness this Support is quick! I decided to call Support anyway and got an immediate response - apparently they are working on their servers as we write and say this is probably the cause of the fails. Suggest I leave it a few hours and try later in the day.

    Yes the support is one of the best, just wish more companies would at least come somewhere near it.

    Did anybody look to see if there was a status message on the trueCall web site? If there was no such message, perhaps it would be a good idea for there to be a status panel of some kind as a first port of call in the case of weblink or ICP problems.

    I certainly didn't see anything. Good idea though about posting a status message on the website.
