I had a call showing in my ICP with no number recorded, that met Shield&Whisper and hung up. However because we have an extension that rings once before trueCall picks up the call I was alerted to the call, and afterwards I did 1471. This service told me what the number of the caller was! So my question is, if the caller had CallerID switched on, how come trueCall didn't record it and pass it to the ICP via a WebLink that occurred after this call?

If there was a transmission fault in delivery of the CLI in your local loop, that would not have stopped it being recorded at the exchange for repeat in response to a 1471 query. I take it your bypass phone doesn't record CIDs?

Turns out we didn't have Caller Display (Identity) on our phone line; added now at the cost of £0.90 per month.

I can't confirm that all is well until someone on our Star List phones, and the ICP website seems to be borked at the moment (getting a security certificate error has been revoked error).
